When we eat a big load of (especially refined) carbohydrates, we get a big sugar rushโ€ฆ and then crash ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ After lunch – you probably want to feel energized for the rest of the afternoon right??

When making a salad ๐Ÿฅ— be sure to have good proteins and fats in there – like chicken & avocado thatโ€™s pictured here, for example ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

In the salad on the right – itโ€™s made with:

  • 1/2 avocado

  • 2 cups arugula

  • 1/2 cup cooked pasta

  • 1/2 cup grape tomatoes, halved

  • 3 strips bacon, crumbled

  • 2 Tbsp light dressing
